The BLM Quickslate is manufactured from British Standard Code 4 Lead Sheet and has a neoprene upstand that can be cut to suit most pipe diameters up to 125mm.

  • Two roof pitches are available, 0-20º and 20-40º.
  • Withstands temperatures of 100ºc and up to 120ºc intermittently ensuring suitability for gas flues.

Quickslate

  • Always cut the aperture in the neoprene slightly smaller than the required diameter to ensure a weathertight fit.
  • It is best not to use Patination Oil on Quickslates. The neoprene could be damaged if it comes into contact with Patination Oil.
  • Use washing-up liquid to lubricate the neck of the rubber sleeve of the Quickslate prior to fitting.
  • A welt should be formed on the upper edge of the base before the tiles are fitted.
