Here, at BLM, we held our first-ever photo competition to discover the most authentic and diverse aspect of Lead.
The competition invited roofing and leadwork contractors to submit images of Lead Sheet used in a variety of roofing applications from impressive and inspiring projects.
It was fantastic to see so many pictures that captured Lead Sheet in its beauty. Thank you to everyone who entered!
The winner and the two runners-up were picked by a panel of BLM employees together with independent judges from the Lead Sheet Association (LSA) – the foremost independent authority on the design, specification and application of Rolled Lead Sheet for the construction industry.
We are delighted to announce the winner! Congratulations to Kevin Bennett from K&M Leadwork Ltd with his winning restoration project of the Village Hall Clock Tower in Goring-on-Thames.
We are also pleased to announce Paul Brent as a first runner-up with his triangular down pipes with hoppers project & Craig Mccamley as a second runner-up with his restoration project of the gothic tower on the Aberdeen Town House.
The two runners-up receive a set of BLM Roofing Tools & toolbag and a copy of the latest LSA Manual each.
We wish Kevin, Paul & Craig very best of luck in their future leadwork projects!
