Here at BLM, we are committed to provide a top class technical service to those using Lead Sheet in the construction industry.
In additional to providing free basic technical advice by phone and email, we also offer 5 levels of support ranging from more in depth technical advice and comments against photographs provided by email or in a written report, site visits with verbal comments or written report through to bespoke consultancy packages tailored to your requirements.
Option 1 - Administration charge
Nominal written comments to be returned by email on a description, sketch, drawing, image or photograph supplied by you, with reference to details available from the latest edition of the LSTA’s Rolled Lead Sheet Manual.
Option 2 - Comments on photographs
Written comments to be returned on headed paper by email, fax or post regarding concerns over the lead work detail carried out. This will include written comments on a maximum of 5 photographs per charge and reference to details available from the latest edition of the LSTA’s Rolled Lead Sheet Manual, plus up to 2 hours of telephone technical support.
Option 3 - Site visit with verbal comments
One day visit to site/meeting where verbal advice and guidance will be given to be recorded or minuted by the client or their representative, following up with a confirmation letter. A free copy of the LSTA’s Rolled Lead Sheet Manual will also be supplied.
Option 4 - Site visit with written report
One day visit to site to include a written report, photographic evidence and references to copies of relevant sections of the latest edition of the LSTA’s Rolled Lead Sheet Manual. A free copy of the LSTA’s Rolled Lead Sheet Manual will also be supplied.
Option 5 – Consultancy site/office visits with written support
Bespoke technical support package to your consultancy requirements as required/stipulated. One free copy of the LSTA’s Rolled Lead Sheet Manual will also be supplied.
The correct specification and installation methods for Rolled Lead Sheet are set out in the Rolled Lead Sheet Manual, available from the Lead Sheet Training Academy (LSTA), the forefront of training for those using lead or hard metals in the construction industry.
These are under constant revision to ensure best practise and maximum performance are achieved when installing Lead Sheet.
For your convenience we produced a range of Basic Fitting Guides
that cover some of the more common Lead Sheet applications. Product and application video guides
are also available to assist users by providing a reference point when fitting lead.
